The Studio
Available to Hire
Soulands Studio is a welcoming, intimate space, conducive to relaxation. Where the teacher, is able to reach all students without having to raise their voice or strain and where those attending feel relaxed and comfortable from the beginning, able to bond as a group and really enjoy and gain from whatever course they attend. The studio does attract specialist courses for small groups focusing on individualized, in-depth teaching.

- Regular teaches are asked to confirm their intention of days/times for the year ahead. These can be cancelled giving one months notice in advance but it will ensure continuity of your preferred class (time and day)

- Where classes have 8 students or more and there are back to back sessions we ask for a 30 minutes space between classes. This provides adequate time (often for chatting after session) and time to leave before the next class arrives. People often arrive early for class so again this avoids congestion with cars

- Prices: For one off "one hour bookings" we charge £12.50 per hour plus VAT. For over one hour the charge is £10.00 per hour plus VAT. We charge to the nearest half hour.

- We will not charge for room hire if cancellation is due to bad weather but all other cancellations must be made one full week in advance to avoid being charged.

FROM JUNCTION 40 PENRITH
Take the exit onto A66 signposted Workington/ Keswick. At the roundabout, take 2nd exit onto A592, signposted Ullswater / Stainton. Pass Dalemain House on your right and after 0.2 Miles, turn right on a left hand bend sign posted to Dacre and Penruddock. Soulands Gate Farm is the first property you come to on the right hand side situated 400 metre from the junction and sits right on the road side just towards the top of the hill. The studio car park is located 100 metres on the right, past the first property entrance and opposite the red post box on the left ( No 3 on the map). When entering the car park keep to the right hand side. There is access and steps down to the studio entrance from the car park. At the bottom of the steps turn right and the studio entrance is on the left.
FROM KESWICK ON THE A66
Turn right to Dacre before the Stainton turn off. Drive through Dacre past the pub and over the bridge at the bottom of the hill. Up to the top of the hill keep the notice board on your right, pass the junction to Soulby on your right and the entrance to the car park (No 3 on the map) is opposite the red post box . When entering the car park keep to the right hand side. There is access and steps down to the studio entrance from the car park. At the bottom of the steps turn right and the studio entrance is on the left.
