Lucy Mote

Hello! I’m Lucy (she/her), a qualified yoga teacher offering in-person, inclusive classes. I’ve been practicing yoga for 10 years and have completed the following qualifications:

  • “Resilience-building, Inclusion & Accessibility in Yoga & Mindfulness” with New Leaf Foundation in Toronto (Canada) – 15hrs
  • Yoga Teacher Training (Hatha & Flow) at Union Yoga + Wellness in Toronto (Canada) – 225hrs

My practice is grounded in acknowledging spaciousness in body and breath. This is a constant work in progress and I’m delighted to share it with you! I believe that yoga is for every body and I love including variety in my practices.

My “off the mat” yoga includes being a trained Mental Health First Aider and an active member of Anti-Racist Cumbria.

I enjoy swimming, running, hiking, beekeeping, vintage/second-hand gems and hanging out with my cat.

I love the space at Soulands Studio; the view, the ambiance of the wood, warmth and natural light. I am more than happy to host classes here or come to you.
