The Studio
Housekeeping
- Shoes: Please do not wear outside shoes inside the studio
- Keys: All teachers have a key to enter by the kitchen entrance. It is the teachers responsibility to open up and make sure the doors are locked when leaving.
- Studio care: Please ensure that all the equipment is returned to its place and that the room is left as it was found with blankets folded and props neatly put away. Hooks are installed on the inside wall for all the bolsters.
- Lighting: The lights in the kitchen and bathroom are fully manual. The switches are just inside the main kitchen door (each one labelled) and control both spaces. Please make sure these lights are turned off at evening sessions and at weekends.
- Main studio lights: Please double-check that the studio lights are fully switched off when leaving.
- British Wool mats: these are kept in the main office. You are very welcome to use them – just let us know before your class
- The large glass door: The key is always left in this door. The central door slides completely back so does provide a nice outside space. The space outside is limited but very private and has exceptional views. If this door is opened please ensure closed after use.
- Outdoor area/entrance: The sandstone outside can be slippery at certain times of year. Please remind your clients to take care when arriving and leaving.
- Booking: We do not operate an online booking system, as we want to ensure our regulars have their slots so please continue to email your request. We always try to reply within 24 hrs and are keen to accommodate our regulars, get to know our teachers and to build a personal connection. We appreciate that at times cancellations cannot be avoided and we are very flexible with cancellations and our charges – all we ask is for as much notice as possible if cancellation is unavoidable.
- Cleaning: The studio is fully cleaned once a week - teaches are asked to ensure the space is left as they found it (a dustpan and brush and soft floor brush are kept behind the door in the main office if required).
- Finally: It is the responsibility of teachers to ensure that all equipment that is used throughout the sessions is put back in place
Accounts
- At the end of each month Eden Renewable Innovations Ltd will send an email with an invoice attached showing your hire charges for the month. Payment is due on receipt of invoice
- Payments can be made by bank transfer, cheque or cash. Our bank account details are included on our invoice. Please reference your name and class. If paying by cheque please make payable to Eden Renewable Innovations Limited.
- If you prefer, cheques or cash can be left in an envelope marked accounts and left on the bench in the studio kitchen.
